Gordon Arthur

Author of JumpStart Reading with Exam Skills P.1- P.3

Commencing his teaching career in New Zealand, Gordon Arthur has taught English in Hong Kong for twelve years. This includes ten years as a native English-speaking teacher under the Education Bureau’s Primary NET scheme. That experience gave him a keen appreciation of the weaknesses and strengths of local students. Gordon believes reading and comprehension skills are crucial if our Hong Kong students are to successfully master English.

 

Paul Story

Author of JumpStart Reading with Exam Skills P.4- P.6

Paul was born and raised in Manchester, England. He has over ten years’ teaching experience. Before moving to Hong Kong in 2010, he started his teaching and research career at Manchester Metropolitan University and has lectured at universities throughout the UK. He currently teaches English at primary and tertiary levels in Hong Kong.

A dynamic educator with international experience, he strongly believes in supporting and enabling all students through English language learning in providing a strong foundation for later study.
